The BOX-D EC series fans are particularly recommended for installations where air exchange or filtration is required. Their distinctive feature is quiet operation, which makes them ideal in residential and industrial environments where noise is a concern. The fan unit is a double-inlet centrifugal fan with forward-curved blades, featuring a built-in, highly efficient EC motor. They are suitable for conveying clean air at temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.
The low noise emission level is due to the plenum lined with sound-absorbing material, which allows for a significant reduction in the noise level inevitably produced by the fan.
They can also be combined with the UFA (Air Filtration Units) series for increased air filtration needs, from M5 filtration up to HEPA.
