The REC Duo 100 Silent is an innovative air extraction and supply unit with high-efficiency (90%) heat recovery, designed to be installed in pairs in a single room or in two separate spaces.

It differs from the REC Duo 100 series due to its outstanding sound insulation (D n,e,w: 45 dB), achieved through the externally sound-insulated, windproof casing. The casing is specifically designed to reduce noise coming from outside, is equipped with fireproof sound-absorbing material, and is made of 304 stainless steel sheet with a front inspection panel and insect screen.

Extremely simple and fast installation:
– minimal masonry work: only a 100 mm hole in the perimeter wall is required.
– magnetic attachment/detachment of the fan unit
– telescopic pipe

The REC Duo 100 Silent operates on the so-called “push-pull” principle, i.e., with alternating flow and a 60-second flow reversal cycle. It is equipped with a ceramic regenerative heat exchanger that stores the heat of the extracted air during the extraction cycle (pull) and then releases it to the supply air during the supply cycle (push).

It is designed for continuous operation (24h) at minimum speed. Switching to maximum speed is done either by manual user intervention (remote button/switch – not supplied, or RLS control available as an accessory) or automatically via a humidistat for the REC Duo Silent MHY and REC Duo Silent RC versions.
